[社課] 11/ 24 Mini MUN

Dear delegates,

we hope you have finished and done well on your first exams in university!
For those who have more to come next weeks, good luck on that!

We will meet on 17th and Workshop (Forum) on 20th.
And then, here comes the: M i n i M U N.
This will be your first MUN experience; we hope you will make use of the skills learned(public speaking, research skills, rules of procedures...) into practice!


As your chair, I hereby announce that the Committee will be: United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
And Topic B：SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT--Tourism will be discussed. (Study Guide contains two topics; that helps us on Setting Agenda)

For now, please refer to the Study Guide (from UNDP, NMUN 2009), and familiarize yourselves with the topic and do research.


We highly encourage you to come up with a Position Paper(PP); it helps both you and other delegates to know one another, to form allies, and to better organize your thoughts.
Please e-mail your PPs to mun.ntnu@gmail.com, NO Later than 11/21 14:00 ; they will be posted!

委員主席撰寫，為方便各國代表延伸閱讀。

投票開會議題→討論議題(formal debate, caucus) →統整各代表同意的解決方案(Draft Resolution)→修改方案(Amendments) →投票通過解決方案

模聯重視討論與協調的過程。提出答案容易，達到全體共識難。

準備流程 (Preparation Flow)：

釐清目標→興趣催化劑→原文精華→旁徵博引→內化與分享（統整與創新）

Hey all!

以下是我從Han精彩的分享得到的10點MUN精華，跟大家分享：

1. 模聯社「一家人」的精神，遠較「菁英化」有益社團延續及營造友善社團氣氛。

2. 人的溝通與互動是模聯運作最需要經營的部份。

3. Play Hard, and Work Hard also!

4. 僕人式領導，成立大家庭。

5. 哈佛大學學生的特點：臨場反應佳、對於人生的不同活動有良好的時間分配（balance）

6. 本分要守好！學生做好，再談別的，這是基本的責任感。

7. Organization + Balance + Priority + Discipline = Multitask at ease while receiving great content!

8. 選你所愛，愛你所選。對自己的人生觀有自信。Do not let other's life style affect you in a negative way. Think positive, and enjoy your life while making it ever better than before!

9. Once a MUNER, forever a MUNER! 未來大家都是朋友，很多可靠的人脈！

10. Women Leaders: 情緒穩定方可得到認同與尊重，才會顯得專業。
